In this 60 minutes Yin yoga practice we are going to hold yoga asanas (positions) for a bit longer – from 2 to 10 minutes. Unlike yang dynamic yoga practice which targets muscles, in yin practice we target fascia, ligaments and joints. This passive and soft way of doing yoga helps obtain greater ranges of motion, calms the heart and mind and stimulates the healing flow of energy. While in the poses, we get a great chance to practice being in the moment.
